African Timneh Grey Parrot

African greys are well known for their excellent talking ability and mimicing of different sounds and voices. They are infact highly intelligent and sensitive creatures, often considered the most intelligent of all parrots.

It may be due to this combination of intelligence and sensitivity that African greys have been unfavorably labeled as neurotic and high strung. In reality, a well socialized and nurtured grey makes a wonderful and devoted pet.

Dietary Notes:	Some foods rich in calcium such as kale, beans, figs, broccoli, almonds. Seeds only in moderation as very fattening.
